Today I will show you a swatch from another polish from my charity goodie bag, Nicole for OPI A Phil’s Paradise! This one surprised me and is far more unique than I originally gave it credit for. I thought it would be a more basic silvery shade but it turns out this is a bit of a shifty one!
Under a lightbulb, it looks like something more between a warm, pewtery silver and gold. In shade it’s a bluer, deeper leaning cool silver. In the sun, you can see a billion micro glitter sparkles, a greenish gold and silver, adding a fun unexpected dimension. This same micro glitter looks very green under a lightbulb. As with many metallic shades, this dried quickly. The formula went on smoothly, was opaque at two coats. The first picture is indoor light, two coats, the remainder are in sun at three thin coats. No topcoat.
I really like this one! A Phil’s Paradise also looks a lot like OPI Number One Nemisis, possible dupe. A Phil’s Paradise seems a bit lighter.
Nicole for OPI Lacquers are big 3 free and are 15mL/0.5oz.
